Getting off social media and remembering to live real life, collect experiences and moments that do not have to be documented, connecting with those who know all the versions of me, tapping into art spaces that fuel my craft.

Tips for Grounding

Tips for Grounding ꩜

Arielle has graciously agreed to share with us her essential and go-to ways to
ground down during all times of our life. Her general rules of thumb
for staying grounded include:

1.

Yoga has always been a grounding ritual for me, its a continuous practice of drowning out the noise and tapping back into my body and the practice of trusting my knowing time and time again.

2.

Spending time outside, whether it be for a walk or just a long time sitting outside of a coffee shop, doing my best to connect back to the world outside of me but NOT within the screen.

3.

Stillness stillness stillness, I’m still not perfect at it but everyday there is a certain slowness or stillness to my day whether that be a soft or slow start or finishing of just tea and my couch not thinking about creating or even creating just being.

4.

Finding art shows, concerts or something that helps me connect back to my creativity but not necessarily engage in the producing of it.
